Bicycle Traffic Planning has one main goal: to create an attractive and safe cycling system for people of all ages, offering an entire range of use possibilities. Due to our years of expertise, we are able to provide you with the following set of services:

• Optimization of the current cycle network taking into account the citizens' mobility rights and needs to travel around the city
• Deficiency statistics by direct experience cycling through the bicycle-restricted road network and the main cycle network, in contact with ADFC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Fahrrad Club/General German Bicycle Association) and the city departments in charge
• Deficiency analysis, development/justification and cost estimation of detailed planning proposals based on the current recommendations for cycle facilities (ERA-Empfehlungen für Radverkehranlagen/Recommendations for bicycle traffic facilities)
• Planning and implementation of signposting systems for riders as possible new inclusions in the signposting register (network supplements), based on the FGSV (Forschungsgesellschaft für Straßen- und Verkehrswesen/Research Society for Roads and Transport) instructions and the quality assurance of the cycle network
• Development of concepts about close-proximity parking spaces for bicycles in city centers and other important points in regard to a "pro bicycle" planning supply
• Development of bicycle network plans for secondary schools in collaboration with interested students (for instance Project Days)
• Quality Management (impact assessment and quality assurance) of applied plans
• Immediate advisory service by phone and short-term one by e-mail about all questions referred to Bicycle Traffic as support service or discussion partner for your planning activities (a consultancy contract with team red is compulsory)
